The real trade-off: a canvas versus an instrument

Every control app sits somewhere on a line between configurable and immediate. TouchOSC sits firmly at the configurable end, and that is a legitimate design choice: a template you build once can drive an entire live rig for years. NueCtrl sits at the immediate end.
